2008 Chesapeake Bay Fishing Trip

Parishioners and friends joined Bishop Tony for the annual Chesapeake Bay fishing trip.  The Holy Trinity  crew boarded the 42- foot Uncle Roy and left the Rod and Reel Dock in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland at 1:00.  The weather was beautiful (except for a  brief afternoon thunderstorm that the captain avoided).  Everyone enjoyed socializing between fish strikes.  Eleven people caught rockfish and all were of legal size -- greater than 18 inches.  Back at the dock, the first mate made quick work of the fish and everyone left with some filleted rockfish.

Grand Chili Cook Off

Holy Trinity parishioners met on Saturday, January 26, 2008 for the annual Chili Cook Off.  Eleven delicious entries were available for tasting.  Diners found it difficult to decide on which was the best, since all were so spicy and tasty.  Nonetheless after the voting was done, three emerged as the best.  After judging, parishioners ate their fill of chili and enjoyed an evening of socializing.   Proceeds will be used to support future church activities.   See Photo Album
